Destiny: Achievement & Trophy Guide

September 10, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

Here’s everything you need to know to unlock the trophies and achievements in Destiny.

PowerPyx, one of our favorite YouTubers and achievement hunters on the internet is back at it again, this time with coverage of Bungie and Activision’s newest first-person shooter, Destiny.

PowerPyx has put up a video of all the dead Ghost locations on Earth to help with the game’s Ghost Hunter Trophy/Achievement (depending on whether you’re playing the game on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 or Xbox One) that’s a better version of the one we put up a couple of days ago detailing in text where you can find each of the game’s dead Ghosts to resurrect.

As you may already know, presuming you play Destiny, finding Ghosts allows you to unlock Grimoire cards and earn Grimoire points to add to your rank. It doesn’t do anything for gameplay, but it sure does look cool to see your numbers stack up like that.

In addition to his Ghost earth locations guide, PowerPyx has also put together an achievement guide for the Blink of an Eye Trophy/Achievement, which requires that you dispatch (by which I mean kill) 5 enemies in three seconds or under. He writes:

“Chances are you will unlock this trophy or achievement automatically while playing through the game, but if you want to get it out of the way or have trouble obtaining it, then load up the free roam on earth (Patrol Cosmodrome). A bit north of the starting point is a group of five low-level Vandals. If you are playing as a Titan or Warlock then use your super move against them. This should kill all of them at once. If you are playing as a Hunter then throw a grenade and shoot the enemies quickly (preferrably with a rocket launcher).”

Check out the video guides below. We’ll be updating this post as more guides become available.
