Twice Circled and Positech have announced Big Pharma, which will be playable at EGX event in London this week.
The two developers are keen to stress that this is not a Kickstarter or early access release but rather a full game launch.
In a press release, they commented, "What if you had it in your power to rid the world of disease, to improve the lives of millions, to ease suffering and cure the sick… and earn a tidy profit?"
The game casts you as heard of a pharmaceutical conglomerate, letting you do just that. You can use your power to do good, but this might not be a good business plan in the long run. As a pharmaceutical company, sickness is good for business after all.
In Big Pharma you start off as a small company with a few re-conditioned machines making low-cost treatments for minor injuries to making "world-changing drugs".
Described as part logistics puzzle, part business sim, sees you grapple with the cost of expansion and medicine production with your ethics.
Big Pharma is set for release in Summer 2015.
