The next game in Rocksteady's Batman Arkham series got a minor shout-out during gamescom with a fresh batch of screens. No new information was announced, but more shots of this amazing-looking game in action is always welcome. I still can't wrap my head around why the wheels on the Batmobile have their own headlights. Those tires are pretty beefy without the extra width!
In addition to featuring a drivable Batmobile, we know that Arkham Knight will pit the Caped Crusader against an original villain calling himself the Arkham Knight. He launches "Operation Savior" in order to lock Gotham City down, and he has recruited classic villains like the Scarecrow to meet his ends.
Batman Arkham Knight will arrive on Windows, PS4, and Xbox One some time next year.
