What is Tequila Works' Rime, exactly? The true nature of the beast will continue to elude us for a while longer, but for now you can enjoy this trailer straight out of gamescom. You get another view of the cel-shaded world with our unnamed protagonist wandering about, trying to make his way to a tower in the center of the island. There's that Team Ico-inspired magic — and in the continued absence of The Last Guardian, Rime may fit that particular bill just nicely.
It's shocking to remember that Microsoft passed on this game because it isn't a connected, social experience. Sony definitely came away the big hero in this situation, wouldn't you say? Rime will definitely turn heads when it finally arrives exclusively on the PS4.
There's no release date yet for Rime. Keep your ears open.
