CD Projekt Red has announced plans to show fresh new gameplay of The Witcher 3 at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con, which is set to take place on July 24 to 27.
According to an official post on the developer’s website, the studio will be showcasing up to 30 minutes of live The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gameplay, previously unpublished by the company.
The space will be limited to a thousand people only. Additionally, the panel will host a special Q&A session with the Witcher team and Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt of Rivia.
The developer stated on Twitter that it will be releasing the 30 minutes of new footage “at some point”, but not right after the show at SDCC, so expect it to remain an SDCC exclusive for at least a day.
The news of the new gameplay comes alongside a Dark Horse Comics announcement of The World of Witcher, an “essential companion” to the series. This art book contains original artwork from each Witcher game, and is described as an “ideal way to start your journey with the series, or expand your existing knowledge.”
You can pre-order the book from Amazon.

Previously, leaked footage of The Witcher 3 surfaced on DailyMotion, detailing the game’s pause menu and character information screen, along with a quest encounter with a godling named Johnny and a quest to find an ashen-haired woman. You can watch footage of that here.
The Witcher 3 is slated for a February 24 release in 2015 for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. It was originally slated for a 2014 release, but was since delayed for reasons of polish.
