We have a new preview video of The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, and it simply looks stunning.
The video is short and sweet. Geralt goes through the marshes and finds a godling, Johnny. Johnny has information on the ashen-haired woman Geralt is looking for, but he’s lost his voice. Johnny leads Geralt across the marshes, and along the way Geralt takes out a few nasties. At the end, Johnny shows Geralt a cliff he must climb to help the godling get his voice back.
It also gives us a nice preview of the pause menu, so we’ll detail that for you here.
At the far top right, you can see Geralt's level and several stats. Across the top, starting from the left, there is a menu allowing you to pick between inventory, map, journal and mebitation (typo or a real thing in Witcher 3? Probably the former, but you mever know).
In this particular scenario, Geralt is switching his weapons around, so you can see that particular preview. At the left is the weapons menu, while at the bottom left is a preview of the weapon, including attributes and stats. At the right is a list of Geralt's own stats, presumably so that you get a quick look of how switching weapons around affects them.
In the middle of all this is Geralt's dashing self, with small previews at his sides and below so you can see what items he has equipped at the ready. Finally, the very bottom shares button controls for easy navigation. It would seem we are watching either the PS4 or Xbox One version.
The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt is coming February 24, 2015 to Windows, PS4, and Xbox One. Without further ado, check out the full video below.
