The Sims fansite compiled all the juicy information the Sim Gurus revealed on Twitter when they answered fan questions on the social media platform. The developers were able to reveal new information in addition to confirm the return of existing features in past games.
Fans rejoiced when it was confirmed that players can let their Sims give birth to twins and triplets like before. There's also a chance for Sims to get pregnant every time they engage in Woo Hoo. In past games, Sims need to use the "Try for Baby" option to even get a shot at pregnancy. The limit of Sims in a household will still be 8 as well.
The developers remained tight lipped on other world featured in the game, and they only talked about the only announced work- Willow Creek that's inspired by New Orleans. Willow Creek won't have an ocean in the world though when fans asked.
Interestingly, The Sims 4 will neither be a prequel or a sequel. Its timeline is described to be an "alternate universe" in order to keep all of the townies players love considering some of them have died and abducted in previous games. They said that the timeline got pretty "crowded" with all the events that happened in the last game. Therefore, they needed a fresh start and that lets them use all of the characters we know and love.
Yesterday, we saw a Sim die of extreme laughter in the trailer shown during EA's press conference in E3. There will be more types of emotion based deaths featured in the game as well.
The Sims 4 will be released on September 2nd for the PC Platform.
