For years Nintendo had decided on moving away from the big conference event of E3 and instead offer players a new means to get the latest details on what the Nintendo company is up to. We were given online YouTube video upload streams. It’s essentially the same kind of a presentation-style conference where Nintendo offers some insight as to what the company is up to and what projects we may see release into the market in the coming months to years.
Nintendo has dubbed these streams, Nintendo Directs, and it’s been a good little while now since we’ve seen these streams take place. That’s not too surprising as the world was going through a health pandemic outbreak so we’re likely going to see this company unveil some projects that may have been intended to be showcased already. At any rate, we don’t have long to wait now as Nintendo revealed that their next Nintendo Direct will be taking place tomorrow.
With short notice, Nintendo has scheduled their Nintendo Direct to take place tomorrow, February 17, 2021, at 5 PM EST. We don’t know just what all the company has planned to reveal but it looks like there are about 50 minutes of content set to be showcased. Now fans have taken online to showcase what they are hoping gets announced. After all, there are past projects unveiled that’s been mainly quiet such as Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2.
Perhaps we’ll finally see some more information regarding these games and more. It’s likely that we’ll see other companies keep up with the streaming conference format as it proved to be a successful means of unveiling content for fans worldwide rather than spending money to showcase a conference during E3, but that’s purely speculative on my part. For now, what are you hoping to see unveiled during tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct presentation?
