Final Fantasy 3 appears to be headed to PC after the game was rated for the platform by Germany's USK censor board.
Siliconera reports that the game was rated earlier this month.
The game was remade for Nintendo DS in 2006 before which it was the least accessible title in the franchise having only previously been made available for Famicom in Japan where it was exclusively released in 1990.
Since then, the silver haired protagonist Luneth has appeared on PSP, iOS, Android, and Ouya. Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 8 have previously been ported to PC but FF3 appears to be an entirely new version of the game.
There's currently no information on when the game will be available.
