Watch First Footage of Star Citizen’s Dogfighting Module

Star Citizen has been racking up millions of dollars in funds since the launch of its crowdfunding campaign, and its developers have had little to show of the game aside from ships and technology.

Coming out of PAX East is some actual footage of the game’s dogfighting module, which is the meat and bones of the game—at long last. The footage appears to be incredibly bug-ridden, but it’s also very pretty and its bugs can be excused based on the fact that it’s all early, pre-alpha gameplay.

The footage showcases a great deal of the interface, early AI, and targeting—none of which is working particularly well at the moment.

Either way, it looks like the game is coming along just fine and that players are finally going to get a taste of the game and all that it entails in due time.
