The first Dark Souls 2 review is out, and boy is it glowing. Published by German magazine maniac.de, the first of a five-page magazine review has been released ahead of everyone else’s and gives the game a 90% score. The same magazine scored the original Dark Souls an 88% and its predecessor, Demon’s Souls, an 82%.
The reviewer claims to have played the game for 60 hours and calls the game “comfortable, magnificent, and extensive.” The review goes on to talk about what the Dark Souls games are all about (hard, but ultimately fair) and that Dark Souls 2 sticks to the formula set by the previous games.

Dark Souls 2 is out on March 11 in the North America, followed by a March 14 release in PAL regions.
