Far Cry Classic Now Available on Xbox Live and PSN

It’s never too late to go back and play Far Cry. But now, if you want to play the game, you don’t have to reinstall that old thing. Thanks to Ubisoft’s remastering of the game, you can now purchase an all new version of Far Cry, replete with new graphical enhancements, cutscenes, and a revamped user interface. 

Ubisoft announced today that Far Cry Classic is now available in the US for download on Xbox LIVE for the Xbox 360 and on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3. It's priced at $9.99. 

In case you’re wondering what the game’s all about, you take on the role of Jack Carver, a ship captain who’s unwittingly trapped on a remote tropical island. You have to go up against mercenaries and genetically engineered monsters, all the while using stealth, firepower and strategy to your advantage.
