Sony Reveals The Last of Us Part 2 PS4 Pro Edition

May 19, 2020 Dennis Patrick

Don’t own a PS4? Here’s an edition for the highly anticipated Naughty Dog release.

The Last of Us Part 2 is easily one of the most anticipated video game titles releasing in 2020. This installment will give players a chance to dive back into the world featuring our favorite apocalyptic duo, Joel and Ellie. However, if you never made the jump to the PlayStation 4, a new bundle is releasing that is themed around the video game. Whether you want the bundle to enjoy as your daily PlayStation 4 driver or if you’re after a specialized edition for your collection, this bundle will be an enticing purchase for plenty of fans.

This announcement came from the official PlayStation Blog, where it was unveiled that the Limited Edition bundle for The Last of Us Part 2 will feature a themed PlayStation 4 Pro based on Ellie’s tattoo. Furthermore, you will also have a themed DualShock 4 controller, a themed Seagate 2TB hard drive, a copy of The Last of Us Part 2, along with a digital voucher for extra content such as a new dynamic theme and avatars. All of this will run you $399.99 when the console bundle launches.

It was also noted that The Last of Us Part 2 DualShock 4 themed controller will be available to purchase on its own for $64.99 and the same can also be said for the themed Seagate 2TB hard drive for $89.99. What will not be featured in the bundle but can be purchased as a side accessory is a themed gaming headset that again is themed around The Last of Us Part 2 in a steel black matte finish for $99.99.

This bundle may be enticing for those that don’t already own a PlayStation 4 or perhaps a PlayStation 4 Pro. However, if you’re just interested in the video game then you can pick up a copy on its own this June 19, 2020. Furthermore, if you’re after any particular edition or may want to pre-order an edition then I suggest checking out our pre-order guide right here.
