Zelda Spotted in Super Smash Bros. Wii U Screenshot

December 26, 2013 by Josiah Renaudin

Another smiling face has been added to the Wii U and 3DS brawler.

We’re yet to see any solid gameplay for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and 3DS, but that hasn’t stopped Nintendo from releasing screenshots with new stages and characters on full display. This time, we’ve been given an image that shows another fresh face that will be in the highly anticipated brawler – Princess Zelda.

The Hyrulian princess now joins Sonic, Toon Link, and a handful of other colorful players in this blend of Nintendo madness. Players will be able to control and do battle with dozens of familiar faces when this product comes out hopefully sometime in 2014, but just don’t expect to see them in any cutscenes or a story mode. These features will be absent this time around.

The Wii U isn’t packed with a great deal of high quality software, but look forward to Super Smash Bros. adding to the variety whenever the final game ships.
