The well-received, 8-bit platformer title, Shovel Knight is set to receive a new DLC titled Showdown this holiday season and Yacht Club Games has released a brand new gameplay trailer featuring our brand new hero, Mona. Check out the short trailer down below.
Showdown DLC will act as Shovel Knight’s last and final DLC and will introduce players to Mona, our new hero, who comes equipped with her very own move set. Mona’s arsenal includes a range of different attacks including moves called Burst Bomb, Conjure Potion, Potion Galore, Cipher Slash, and Bringing it all together, which all can be seen in action in the trailer.
As mentioned above, Shovel Knight Showdown will be the final DLC and will throw players in a battle mode as they square off against each other in a multiplayer match. Players will be familiar with the roster, as it is made up of characters from previous DLC and the main game.
Shovel Knight Showdown arrives December 10th on Nintendo Switch, Wii U, Sony PS4, Sony PS3, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Linux, and Amazon FireTV, and will release as a free update to owners of Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove. Will you be picking up this DLC? If so let us know in the comments below!
