Bloober Team has announced that their survival horror title, Blair Witch which originally launched as an Xbox One exclusive, will be arriving on PlayStation 4 consoles this December.
The news comes via an announcement trailer, in which we get a short and sweet sneak peek of the horrors that awaits us in creepy and eerie Black Hills Forrest. In addition, we see multiple accolades quotes from different outlets claiming the game lives up to the Blair Witch movies and iconic name.
Blair Witch will be making its debut on PlayStation 4 consoles with “additional content” however, at this moment no further details have been revealed. In addition to its PS4 debut, Blair Witch will also be getting a physical edition for Xbox One, PC, and PS4 also releasing on the same day.
Blair Witch takes place two years after the original 1994 movie and follows a former police officer named Ellis Lynch who is searching for a nine-year-old boy named Peter Shannon. It doesn’t take long before things take a turn for the worst and the forest begins to make officer Lynch paranoid. A blend of reality and evil begins to blur as Lynch must do all in his power to find and rescue this boy in this psychological thriller-horror title.
