Nintendo reels players back to Pikmin 3 with eight new stages bundled in the third DLC add-on for the Mission Mode.
Instead of recycling previous environments from the single player, the third round of DLC introduces new locales such as a construction site. The newly designed stages house a number of secrets including one stage where players can control Olimar, the main character from previous Pikmin releases. Within the stage players can find Olimar's friend, Louie, and take control of him to help herd nearby Pikmin.
The third round of DLC adds eight stages in total – four Battle Enemies stages and four Collect Treasure stages. Alongside the new DLC, a new required software update gives players free content. If players download this update they receive one Battle Enemies stage and one Collect Treasure stage free.
The third Pikimin 3 DLC launches on December 2 on the Wii U eShop.
