Announced at E3 this past June, Resogun represents the spiritual successor to the asteroid destruction found in Super Stardust HD.
Resogun operates on a two dimensional plane, yet players steer their ships around one of the many circular stages. In Super Stardust HD players roamed around the surface of a planet, band that same hectic action bleeds over into this PlayStation 4 release.
Developers Housemarque previously announced their work on a handful of PS4 projects, including another unannounced project.
Resogun launches on the PlayStation 4 for free as part of the PlayStation Plus service. With only a week left until the PlayStation 4 launch, Sony continues to improve each month's PlayStation Plus offerings.
