Yesterday at their CES Keynote, Microsoft announced that it’s new motion and voice control add-on, Natal, will be releasing close to Christmas this year. This means there is little over 11 months left before Microsoft’s innovate new Xbox 360 peripheral hits store shelves.
Natal aims to revolutionize the way we play games by taking the controller out of the picture and make use of our body movements to control in-game character or even talk to other characters by giving voice commands. At the moment, a price point is yet to be decided and it would be interesting to see how Microsoft decides to price itself which could be revealed at this year’s E3.
Along with the Natal announcement, Microsoft also talked about a line of exclusive titles coming to Xbox 360 this year – Alan Wake, Halo: Reach, Crackdown 2 and also announced the cleverly titled, Fable III which will also be coming your way in 2010.
