GTA 5 Cheats Guide: Vehicles, Items, Players and World

October 11, 2013 by Stephen Daly

GTA 4 cheats don’t appear to work in GTA 5 but some older cheats do work for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Updated: This article contains a list of cheats available in Grand Theft Auto 5, all of which serve to do things like provide the player with invincibility, spawn vehicles, and give the player superhuman powers. In addition to these cheats, we have guides on how to evade 5-star wanted ratings, a complete map for the game's aerial challenges, and a general tips & tricks guide.

Grand Theft Auto 5 doesn't officially launch until midnight tonight but some gamers have already got their hands on a copy of Rockstar's latest and naturally, they've tried out various cheat codes – some of which you can see in action in the image above.

Over on Reddit, one user who uploaded the cheats wrote:

"Seems some cheats from past games work! But they don't always spawn the same vehicle as before.

"One thing I'm unsure about is what the game defines as a 'session' when disabling achievements. Can I spawn a heli to travel between missions? What about if I quick-save, then re-load? Or does saving the game after using cheats disable achievements for good on that save?"

Regardless of how activating cheats affects achievement and trophy progress the full list of currently known cheats and what you need to do to activate them is below. It should be noted that none of Grand Theft Auto 4's cheats appear to work.

Here's the Xbox 360 list.
