Nintendo Confirms E3 2019 Video Presentation

April 26, 2019 by Dennis Patrick

Nintendo keeping up their trend from the past few years.

Nintendo has been in the headlines as of late. In the past few weeks, there has been plenty of rumors going around that suggested Nintendo would be releasing two new model revisions of the Nintendo Switch. However, recently it was confirmed by the Nintendo president that the company won’t be making any announcements in regards to hardware. So as it stands E3 2019 for Nintendo will mainly consist of software such as video games. Now we have one more confirmation from Nintendo and that is just how they plan to make the big reveal during this year’s E3 expo.

In the past, you may have remembered Nintendo held the same traditional press conferences that its competitors normally hold. One at a massive theater filled with investors and media. However, the past few years Nintendo has decided to do away with the big live conferences and instead have opted for a direct to YouTube video upload. This upload normally is about an hour long and offers viewers a way to see what all Nintendo has planned for the coming year.

During a financial results briefing, president of Nintendo, Shuntaro Furukawa decided to alert their investors of what Nintendo’s plans are for E3 2019. As mentioned the president already confirmed that there will not be any hardware announcements during E3, but instead will upload a video to showcase the upcoming games as they have done in the past few years. Gamers will also get a chance to try some games so we’re unsure if this means we’ll see some partnership like previously where Nintendo games were shown off at various retail locations or if gamers at home watching will have access to demos through their Nintendo Switch units.

At any rate, while we know that Nintendo will hold a video upload like before, what do you hope Nintendo reveals? Let us know by leaving a comment down below.
