PS4’s DualShock Also Available in Blue and Red

August 21, 2013 by Stephen Daly

But does it come in black? (Yes it does Mr Wayne)

If you'd like to add a bit of colour to your gaming life Sony has you covered with Wave Blue and Magma Red DualShock controllers for PS4.

The controllers will be sold for €59/$59/£54, the company has announced. The controller's buttons, triggers, light panel and lower hand grips remain black.

European PS4 owners will be able to pick up the controllers at launch and they'll head to North America later this year.

Sony has invested heavily in the DualShock 4 with it being overhauled to allow for a better gaming experience, especially for first person shooters the PS4's system architect Mark Cerny said at Sony's gamescom press conference last night.

For a hands-on look at the DualShock 4 head over here. Sony has also detailed the controller in a developer diary.

DICE has said the contoller is "much improved" over previous PlayStation controllers and the PS4 version of Battlefield 4 will "likely" use L2 and R2 for aiming and shooting.

The standard PS4 controller will be jet black and you can see both the red and black versions below.
