For both Windows 8 and future Xbox One users, you can now begin registration for the Project Spark beta on their official website.
Microsoft revealed Project Spark during their E3 press conference as an open world game in which players could build the world around them even while simultaneously playing. For people still unsure of what the game offers, think of it as Microsoft's version of the building tools and capabilities found in LittleBigPlanet.
The game will provide the tools for players to create all sorts of games from platformers, twin stick shooters and even 3D action games.
While the development team won't reveal their current plans for Kinect functionality, players can use a second device such as a tablet to create objects using the touch screen. Once you complete any of your games or creations, you can share them with the community and also play the creations the community built.
Project Spark will launch as a free download for the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows 8 platforms
