Namco Bandai's contest for selecting the best user-designed shields to make it into Dark Souls 2 has had a good run, with users from across the globe submitting their entries for consideration in the contest. Only six shields will make it into the game, with two from each territory: US, EU, and JP/Asia.
Although users are no longer able to submit their entries, as that portion of the contest has closed, it remains on-going as Facebook users are encouraged to vote on their favorite shields to make it into the game. The winners will receive signed copies of Dark Souls 2 and full credit for their creations.
Of the hundreds of shields that were submitted to Namco Bandai, only 90 have made it through to the final leg of the contest. If you like any of these shields, you can go vote on them here. Dark Souls 2 is slated for release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year.
