Borderlands 2 Psycho Pack Trailer Highlights Krieg

May 13, 2013 by Josiah Renaudin

If you weren’t ready to

Are you ready to “meat Krieg”? Well, if you’re still actively playing Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 2, it’s time to buckle up and prepare yourself for the release of one of the deadliest, most bizarre characters available. The sixth personality playable in the game will be available for download tomorrow, and a new trailer has all the information you’ll ever need about this mentally unstable, muscle-bound warrior.

If you’ve been away from Borderlands 2 for an extended period of time, it’s time to care again. Krieg will act as a high-risk melee brawler rewarding players for pushing forward with reckless abandon. His pure, unadulterated insanity allows Krieg to only get stronger as the fight carries on, as well as regain full health after defeating an enemy with the Buzz Axe Rampage skill activated. His damage will increase as he fights with his axe, withstands enemy fire, and is even set on fire himself. It’s this character's unique skill trees, which include Bloodlust, Mania, and Hellborn, that allow for such a wild play style.

May 14 is the day many Borderlands 2 fans have been waiting for. The pack will be priced at $9.99 or 800 MSP, and unfortunately, will not be a part of the $30 Season Pass that players can purchase for the game. However, those who’ve dropped some cash on that pass can look forward to Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, which will be the final piece of content for Borderlands 2. That DLC is scheduled to release on June 25, and will be free for Season Pass holders or $9.99 or 800 MSP by itself.
