New Saints Row 4 Trailer Introduces the President

A new trailer for Volition and Deep Silver’s Saints Row 4 has been released, and while it may only be about 90-seconds long, the amount of chaos and nut shots that occur is almost too much to bear. This new, open-world adventure wants you to meet the President of the United States of 'Merica, who seems to have one of the strictest stances against illegal aliens ever seen in the U.S.

Saints Row 4 is not a normal game. Actually, I’d go as far as to say that this entire franchise is one of the most bizarre, goofy things currently running on modern hardware. However, everything about this trailer looks just plain fun. From the customizable outfits to the scenes of the protagonist flying over his magenta-tinted city, it’s obvious that the fourth game from Volition will be doing its best to top everything that’s come before.

“As the President of the United States of 'Merica, you are a presidential ass-kicker delivering justice Saints-style to the invading alien empire, the Zin,” the official statement reads. “Your out of this world powers are second-to-none, as is your ability to deliver a perfect nut-shot. BOOM.”

When “nut-shot” is a part of the language right below the trailer, you know you’re in for a unique ride. Players interested in digging even deeper into the franchise can pre-order the game and see a slew of in-game items as a reward. A new outfit, massive weapon, and Screaming Eagle Jet are all included in the Commander-in-Chief package, which will be releasing on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC August 20.
