Conan Exiles Team Announce A New Company

Funcom announces a new company.

Funcom, the team behind the survival PC title, Conan Exiles has announced a new company, Heroic Signatures, in association with Cabinet Group LLC. This company will hold and manage the interactive rights for licenses such as Conan the Barbarian, Solomon Kane, Mutant Chronicles, Dark Agnes, Kult, Kull of Atlantis, Mutant: Year Zero, and El Borak – in total they will be in a possession of 29 licenses.

While the licenses themselves remain as property of Cabinet Group LLC, both Cabinet Group and Funcom will own 50% of Heroic Signatures. Funcom also stated that it intends to increases co-development and publishing for third-party developers.

In other news, Conan Exiles has a solid release date set, the game will finally launch for PS4 and Xbox One May 8, 2018.

‘While Conan Exiles has been out on since January this year, it’s only been available to those playing PC via Steam and more recently Xbox One via the consoles preview program. Now, Funcom has officially announced that the title will be available for all platforms as a final release May 8th, 2018. Along with Pc and Xbox One, it will also be available for PS4. To celebrate the announcement, a new trailer for the game has been released.’
