Tomorrow is a very special day. It's not just a Tuesday. It's not just February 26, 2013. Tomorrow is the debut for Runner 2, and I'm so looking forward to it that I cannot keep the fangirl contained.
As I'm still fond of the look of the 8-bit era of gaming and loved the concept of essentially playing a game by sound, I took like a fish to water to the original BIT.TRIP RUNNER. I was sadly unaware of the sequel until visiting the Gaijin Games booth at PAX Prime 2012, where a demo quickly won me over to the gorgeous new art direction (and Xbox controls, which I'd previously never used). Check out what makes the game great, from the bouncy music to panic inducing side scrolling gameplay, in the new trailer above. It is a unique and wildly fun experience so don't miss out.
