Blizzard Entertainment’s hero shooter Overwatch has recently hit a milestone. The FPS title officially has 35 Million registered players across all three platforms (PC, PS4 and Xbox One).
While the company didn’t provide the daily player count nor a number of copies sold – it’s still a pretty significant statistics, I mean that enough people to create a country of Overwatch gamers!
Overwatch released to enormous fanfare in 2016, hitting 20 million registered players by November 2016. The number has been gradually increasing since it’s launch due to continuous updates, new characters, free weekends and other promotions. Let’s see if the company can hit 40 million registered players by the end of the year.
