Playtonic Partners With TriForce for Yooka-Laylee Collector’s Box

October 5, 2017 by Katrina Filippidis

HERE IS SOME MERCH YOU CAN KEEP ON YOUR PERCH.

Yooka-Laylee‘s rollercoaster ride on Kickstarter anchored it into video game history as one of the most quickly funded titles. Since its release in April, developer Playtonic Games has introduced a number of updates tweaking various gameplay aspects, and more recently, a report on what’s happening with the Nintendo Switch edition.

To tide fans over until Yooka-Laylee arrives on the hybrid console, Playtonic and TriForce have teamed up for the Yooka-Laylee Collector-Boxie, a beautifully realised 10-inch statue tribute to the green and purple duo. The precision paint job faithfully represents the original character models, and captures the granular, luscious texture of Tribalstack Tropics’ jungle grassland, which is further embellished with flowers and propped up by the iconic Aztec-style platform beneath.

Included with the statue are five art cards, three character pin badges, and a metal Quill keyring. All contents will be wrapped up in premium packaging influenced by the Grand Tomes.

The Yooka-Laylee Collector-Boxie is now on sale for $59.99 USD. Buy it here. Those who backed Yooka-Laylee on kickstarter are eligible for a 10% discount.

Not sure if you should check out Yooka-Laylee? Have a gander at our Before You Buy for the lowdown.
