The latest map in Blizzard’s FPS, Overwatch is now available on all platforms. Junkertown takes place in post-apocalyptic Australia, starting from the outside before venturing into the main hub of the Junkers. The goal is similar to push the payload all the way to Queen’s throne room. The defenders, have to make sure they stop the payload before it reaches the destination.
‘Junkertown is an Escort map located in the harsh and unforgiving Australian Outback. Constructed from the remains of a destroyed omnium, it’s now the home to a band of lawless scavengers known as the Junkers, led by their cutthroat Queen. When they aren’t pillaging the omnium’s skeleton for anything of value, the Junkers blow off steam in the Scrapyard—a massive gladiatorial arena whose combatants fight for glory, riches…and to survive.’
In other Overwatch news, Blizzard recently introduced a feature which mutes toxic player’s in-game audio.
‘Toxic Player? Blizzard has just introduced a new feature in it’s FPS team-based title, Overwatch, which basically mutes your in-game audio when playing matches. These players who have bad reputations on Xbox Live, will be designated with an “Avoid Me,” badge. They’ll still participate in the same matchmaking queue, they just won’t be able to harass any other players through audio.’
Overwatch is out now for PS4, PC and Xbox One.
