Could Bethesda be readying a TV show to accompany the Fallout series? A recent trademark suggests they may. On January 8, they registered a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for "Entertainment services in the nature of an on-going set in a post-nuclear apocalyptic world." It was a day later that voice actor Erik Dellums cryptically Tweeted that more of Three Dog may soon be on the way–though if the two are unrelated, it's uncertain.
As the folks at the Fallout Wiki point out, there's no guarantee anything could come of it, as Bethesda trademarked something similar back in 2009. Nonetheless, the rumor is rife with possibilities. A television series of some kind maybe a set of film shorts ala Halo 4's Forward Unto Dawn, would be a great way to bridge any gaps between Fallout 3 and 4, especially if Fallout 4's setting moves them to Boston and MIT, as rumored recently on Reddit. Erik Dellums could also easily pass for Three Dog in a live action scenario. Bethesda's other ventures in alternative mediums to tell Fallout's story, like the supplementry comic book from Dark Horse that came with the New Vegas special edition, have thus far been very well done, and I'd like to think they could pull of a TV show with the same level of quality.
