Ubisoft has officially delayed Rayman Legends Retold.

They shared this statement on social media:
Rayman Legends Retold will release on December 3rd.
While the game has officially gone gold, we have decided to take extra time to make sure every detail gets the care it deserves.
Ubisoft also revealed that they will have a preview on September 22, with a Game Overview trailer, and NDA dropping for content creators and games press to share impressions.
Going gold of course means that Ubisoft is ready to submit the game for certification and prepare for publishing. So they could release the game as soon as this month.
Obviously, this delay is coming in light of a huge November game release, which is so huge that a large number of AAAs moved to this month. Maybe Ubisoft is prudent to avoid all of these releases completely and just make it as a holiday release.
But then again, maybe Ubisoft really did see opportunities to improve what they have now. Hopefully we’ll get a really polished retelling in December.
