While Dead or Alive fans might already be beating each other to a pulp on the Xbox 360 or PS3 version of Dead or Alive 5, they'll be able to do it on the go, too, in the next few months.
In a video reveal in what seems to be his backyard; Yosuke Hayashi, Head of Team Ninja, goes on record to announce Dead or Alive 5 "Plus" for the PS Vita. For the moment, we do not have a clue as to what the "Plus" means. If I had to hazard a guess, it would be for a few extra features and whatnot added to the PS Vita version of the game.
Here's the video (via NeoGAF):
Hayashi did not go into specifics much, but he did let out that they will be releasing Dead or Alive 5 Plus on the PS Vita "at an early stage of next year," which I take it to mean it will be out in 2013's first-quarter.
For more info, Hayashi states it will be coming at a later date. So for those hoping for cross-play support, there's a chance of that happening still.
So, now that Dead or Alive 5 can be taken on the go or played by yourself in the comfort of your own bed, what do you hope Team Ninja adds to it? Of course, speaking of the latter, it wouldn't surprise me if they added something sleazy to it, too. I mean, these are the guys that brought out Dead or Alive Volleyball, so anything's possible.
