Wadjet Eye Games, the indie publisher behind games like Resonance and The Blackwell Deception, has just released a playable demo for its upcoming PC game Primordia, which was announced earlier this year. Primordia is a retro-styled adventure game, much like Resonance, set in a post-apocalyptic world in which humans have disappeared.
You play as a robot called Horatio, who is accompanied by a droid called Crispin. Horatio is content to spend his time studying the Book of Man and tinkering with the airship in which he and Crispin live, until one day a rogue robot steals the energy source the two of them need in order to survive. Of course, setting off to retrieve the energy leads Horatio and Crispin to new locations and discoveries. Horatio will learn about his own origins and the humans who have long been little more than legend.
Primordia is due to launch on December 5th, and will be available on PrimordiaGame.com and GOG.com. The game is also on Greenlight, so if you want to see it available on Steam then head over and give it a vote. You can preorder Primordia direct from Wadjet Eye Games to get either a discounted digital copy or a disc copy with an included DRM-free download of the game.
