Amnesia Fortnight, the aforementioned internal Double Fine game jam that's been made open to the public, has just sweeten their Humble Bundle deal: those who donate an amount that's higher than the average will receive Brazen, a 4 player co-op action romp that was created in a previous Fortnight event.
As Venus Patrol notes, it's the creation of Brad Muir, who was the lead on Iron Brigade, which itself was born from a previous Amnesia Fortnight, and was eventually chosen to be a fully realized title. It basically combines Monster Hunger, with a dash of God of War, and Ray Harryhausen movies.
For those who might be too young to know the name, he's pioneering visual effects artist, primarily in the realm of stop motion animation. Notable work includes The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Jason and the Argonauts, and the original Clash of the Titans.
Brazen was from last year's Amnesia Fortnight, but given an extra bit of polish, to make it digestible for the general populace. It joins the Costume Quest prototype and the Happy Song prototype as bonus incentives (the later title would eventually become Sesame Street: Once Upon A Monster).
Venus Patrol also notes that the first round of this year's Fortnight is over, and finalists have been chosen, though instead of four, the Humble Bundle page now lists five. Perhaps the voting was so close that a firth entry was necessary?
