Epic Mickey 2: The Power Of Two launches today, and apparently the game has turned out to be the biggest games localization project in Scandinavia ever.
People in the Nordic countries will be able to play to the game with Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian voices, which turned out to be quite the project since 62 speaking characters appear in the game.
"The game appeals to both young gamers and older gamers – we therefore felt it was key to localiza Disney Epic Mickey into the Scandinavian languages to allow gamers of all ages to take part in the latest adventure of Mickey and Oswald," said Lisbeth Hagen, head of Disney Interactive in Scandinavia.
She added, "This is clearly the biggest games localization project in Scandinavia to date – the game has no less than 62 speaking characters, which is an all time high."
Unfortunately it seems the extra localization didn't help the quality of the game. It currently holds an average Metascore of 59 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and the Wii U version doesn't seem to improve that score.
