A petition to Crytek UK to create a TimeSplitters HD Collection has seen a recent flood of signatures, but is still far from its target. The petition was started more than a month ago by Daniel Wesoly from Llandysul in South-West Wales, but only had a few signatures until Crytek's CEO and president Cevat Yerli said in an interview with Game Informer that he would be happy to present a full petition to the right people to get a new TimeSplitters game made:
They’re trying to call 300,000 voices, I think it’s at two or three thousand right now. If they could get the petition together I would be very happy to put in front of decision makers in the company, the key stakeholders, and say "Look here. This is how it is, let’s make it now."
In the hours since that interview went live, those “two or three thousand” signatures have become more than 30,000, but that's still only 10% of the way there. It might well pick up over the next few days, as long as the news doesn't get buried, but if you want to help it on your way then head to Change.org and put your name down.
