SledgeHammer Games Release World Premiere Trailer for Call of Duty: WWII

April 26, 2017 by Jordan Biazzo

How is Call of Duty: WWII looking? Let us know in the comments!

Activision and SledgeHammer games unveiled the official trailer and first details for the upcoming Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: WWII.

The official trailer, which you can watch below, shows players the route SledgeHammer went with the series. It seems after long awaited requests from fans, Call of Duty is returning to ‘boots on the ground’ gameplay. In addition, it looks like Call of Duty: WWII has upped its game engine, because the game is looking much better than last years Infinite Warfare.

Check out the trailer for yourself down below:

Over two years in the making, Sledgehammer Games delivers a gritty, personal experience in the setting of the largest worldwide conflict in history to a new gaming generation in Call of Duty®: WWII. Play through the story of ordinary men turned soldiers in the 1st Infantry Division as they fight to preserve freedom in the face of tyranny. Call of Duty: WWII delivers fast-paced, boots-on-ground combat through iconic locations in the European Theater.

According to a press release that was sent out regarding the upcoming Zombies game mode, Sledgehammer Games describes it as unexpected adrenaline-pumping action.

“The definitive World War II next generation experience also introduces Nazi Zombies, an all-new cooperative mode featuring a unique standalone storyline set during World War II that’s full of unexpected, adrenaline-pumping action. Look for more information about Multiplayer at E3 and the Nazi Zombies cooperative experience at a later date.”

Likewise, the post makes mention that more information regarding multiplayer and the zombie mode will be revealed during E3 of this year. It will be interesting to see if the developers opt to put in a wave-based mode in the title as well, similar to the previous zombie’s mode from the Call of Duty franchise.

Regardless, we’ll have to wait until more details are announced during this year’s big E3 event in June.
