Ratchet & Clank's 10th Anniversary is coming up next month and Insomniac will have a new game out for the series the same month. Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, a "fun-sized" project that is similar in scope to Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty will only cost $19.99. Earlier this fall they released a beta of the game which seemed to be quite popular.
Most unusually, the game will be available for PlayStation 3 as a physical retail copy due to demand. The PlayStation Vita version will remain as a digital copy, though of course PlayStation 3 players can purchase either version. The digital version is cross-compatible with the Vita.
Insomniac also said that the game is bigger than Quest for Booty as they've added "added tons of new features, including the new base assault and defense elements". They also added the online/split-screen co-op and online competitive modes. They stated that they are "very proud of what we've created" and that "while the experience itself may be more condensed, the game quality is bursting at the seams".
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault releases November 27th for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
