The Peacekeeper character from For Honor has been banned from several professional tournaments for being too “OP.” Players at several tournaments organized by MLG won’t be able to choose this character.
Peaceekeeper was banned after one player took to the MLG forums to complain about her being overpowered. The player explained that “spamming” Peacekeeper’s light attacks is more than enough for players to get hits and win “even against experienced players.” Not only is she used by new players due to this ease, but when more experienced players choose her and “use these mind games and tricks in combination with the speed of the PK, she is nearly impossible to beat in a 1v1 scenario.”

In response, MLG said, “For online tournaments, we will try running a tournament with peacekeeper banned, and then send a poll.” The organizer added, “If the community is largely in favor of banning the hero then we will do so.”
There are some players who are happy with this ban, agreeing with MLG’s decision. While others want not only a Peacekeeper ban in tournaments, but for Ubisoft to nerf the character. What the developer chooses to do with Peacekeeper remains to be seen.
