Sleeping Dogs is expanding into zombie territory with the release of the “Nightmare in the North” DLC at the end of this month (details here). It’s only the tip of the iceberg for where the game will go with its expansions, as the game’s developer United Front has launched a poll to take suggestions for future DLCs.
The developer is giving players the option to choose between a realistic expansion pack and a fantasy-themed one.
The realistic option is called the Hong Kong Fire Fighter Pack and includes a firefighter’s outfit, an unbreakable fire axe, a fire van for your garage, and an increased damage resistance buff. Players more inclined towards fantasy should vote for the Sun Wukong (Monkey King) Pack which allows you to dress up as the Monkey King and equip yourself with a quarterstaff. You’ll also receive an increased melee damage buff and a “themed vehicle” for your garage. We doubt that you’ll be able to fly, however.
