Let It Die: How to Get Infinite Healing Items | Restore (M) Farming Guide

December 27, 2016 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Only on PS4: Never run out of fresh frogs with this simple strategy to help you stock up on healing items in Let It Die.

Restoration items are a rare commodity in Let It Die, and there’s no way to just buy healing from the Waiting Room shop. Healing items are only available in the Tower of Barbs, making them especially hard to collect in quantity. If you’re tired of running out of healing items and need a simple, easy strategy for stocking up without risking the lives of your precious fighters, we’ve found a way.

Let It Die requires patience and repetition to succeed, but this quick farming method can net you 5-7 medium healing items in about ten minutes. Check out the full guide below for everything you need to know.

How to Get Infinite Healing Items | Restore (M) Farming Guide

Using this simple method, you can gain 5-7 Medium Healing items every 10 minutes. Even a Lvl. 1 Fighter can survive this run. It’s all about collecting frogs from 1F Tamara.

These are a pretty crappy healing item on their own, but if you bring your collection back to the Waiting Room, you can cook them up for an instant bonus. After they’re upgraded, they become healing items worth collecting.

Step #1: Find a frog.
Step #2: Grab it! Stuff that frog in your Death Bag.
Step #3: Catch even more frogs. There should be about 5-7 frogs on 1F.
Step #4: Return to the Waiting Room and find the cooking fire.
Step #5: Toss the frog into the fire! Instant upgraded healing.
Step #6: Return to 1F, find even more frogs.
Step #7: Rinse and repeat.

To improve your carrying capacity, try purchasing a Collector type from the Fighter Freezer (1,000 Kill Coins) — these clones have 30 spaces in the Death Bag instead of 20.

  1. Go to 1F TAMARA, the first area of the game.
  2. Up to 7 frogs will spawn in this area.
    • 1-2 spawns in the first room (train and dead bodies)
    • 1-2 spawns in the sewer where you encounter Mk. 1 Tubers
    • 1 spawns in the hallway with the crate blocking the passage on the left. Smash the crate to reveal the frog.
    • 1 spawns in the maintenance passage with the yellow generators (and a Hater)
    • And many other locations.
  3.  Collect Frogs! Grab as many as you can.
    • To catch a frog, press [L3] while standing still to crouch. Then approach the frog and press [X]. Select to put the frog in your Death Bag.
  4. Return to the Waiting Room and find the Mushroom Magistrate vendor.
    • There is a cook fire near her — tossing frogs into the cook fire will upgrade them from Restore (S) to Restore (M) items.
  5. Throw all your uncooked frogs into the fire.
    • To throw an item, swipe on the PS4 Controller touchpad to select an item, then press down on the left side of the touchpad to prepare a throw.
  6. Collect all the cooked frogs for a quick supply of Restore (M) items.
  7. Rinse and repeat to get as many as you want.

That’s all it takes. Even a Lvl. 1 Fighter can handle this run, and you can put any extra cooked frogs into storage for later. These items are very useful for the first 10 floors of the Tower of Barbs, and this low-effort method makes obtaining enough healing to survive tricky bosses like JIN-DIE a breeze.
