Play iconic music from the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth soundtrack with collectible Sheet Music. You’ll start encountering pianos very early in the adventure, and it doesn’t take long for an NPC named Dorian to appear. He’ll demand you do more than just press random keys. This guy wants a good performance, and that’s a lot harder than it looks.
There are multiple sheets to collect that unlock guided rhythm minigames for plenty of memorable music. Look, we’re pretty terrible at these minigames and can just barely earn an A Rank. Here’s the full list of music sheet locations – and goodluck doing better than us.
Sheet Music #1 (On Our Way)
Chapter 2 – Junon Region. Located in the Crow’s Nest bar. Talk to Dorian, the old man NPC, to share A Rank and earn a reward.
To access the Crow’s Nest settlement, talk to Rhonda in Under Junon and complete her quest ‘When Words Won’t Do’ – this will unlock the Crow’s Nest village and the remainder of the Junon Region.
Sheet Music #2 (Tifa’s Theme)
Chapter 5 – Corel Region. Located in Costa Del Sol. During the sequence with Tifa & Aerith playing the Amore Del Sol minigames, you’ll find the piano in the resort lobby in the center of town. Completing the rhythm game here will unlock a Companion Card.
Sheet Music #3 (Barret’s Theme)
Chapter 7 – Corel Region. Found in the tavern on the upper level of North Corel. The tavern is near the main exit gate. You’ll reach this area for the first time after crossing Mt. Corel and defeating the Gigatrice.
Sheet Music #4 (CInco De Chocobo)
Chapter 9 – Gongaga Region. In a hut to the east of Gongaga Village, in the Laurel Hill area. You’ll find the piano marked on the map. This becomes available after dealing with the Abandoned Reactor.
Sheet Music #5 (Two Legs? Nothin’ To It)
Chapter 10 – Cosmo Region. This sheet music is located In the back of the Sydra Inn, the local rest spot in the main town of Cosmo Canyon. The inn is located to the left of the bottom-level Community Board.
Sheet Music #6 (Aerith’s Theme)
Chapter 11 – Nibelheim. The sheet music is found in Tifa’s House, in her second floor bedroom. The music will only appear when you complete the ‘My White-Haired Angel’ quest from the Community Board. At the end of the quest, you’ll be prompted to play on the piano.
Sheet Music #7 (Let The Battles Begin!)
Earn A Rank on all six songs to earn a bonus Healing (4 Star) Materia. Dorian will also play the piano for you in a cutscene – and unlock the final sheet music. In addition to this last piece, you’ll also unlock the ability for Tifa or Aerith to play music.For earning A on all six original Sheet Music tracks, you’ll unlock the Piano Virtuoso trophy.
