Rocksteady Studios is gearing up to release their latest game, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. The team is well known for their work on the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series, and understandably, some fans are pretty darn excited to jump back into that world – albeit from a different perspective. Heck, in a different genre entirely.
Sadly, not everyone is stoked about the existence of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and backlash at the direction the game is heading in. You won’t have to wait long to find out because early previews are live now, and the game launches in the next few weeks. Like with many games released nowadays, you can even jump in early if you adopt early.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Release Date
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League releases on February 2, 2024, and lands on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. There are no plans for it to come to PS4 or Xbox One. Naturally, the Switch is not getting a port any time soon. PC gamers who prefer the Epic Games Store will have to wait a bit longer, as it launches on that storefront on March 5, 2024.
How To Play Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Early
If you are a creature driven by FOMO (a common affliction commonly exploited) you can jump into Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League early by handing over a hefty sum and preordering. Well, not quite. To gain passage into the hallowed halls of early access, you have to preorder the ‘Deluxe Edition’. This is $100 (or your local equivalent) and comes with all kinds of throwaway cosmetics, a ‘battle pass token’ and the ability to play the game from January 30, 2024.
Is Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Live Service?
With exploitative early access practices already being in place, does Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League come with more predatory nonsense? Sadly, yes. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, despite being a full-priced game, also has in-game microtransactions, a battle pass, and the promise of future content free of charge.
In short, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is a live service title. Be aware that just because there are promises of continued support, there is no guarantee that it will be honoured. Plenty of live service games die within the first 12 months, so be content with the content you get at launch before jumping in, because there is a chance you won’t be getting much more than that.
That’s all we have on Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League for now. Be sure to check our other content whilst you wait for the game to launch.
