In this Library escape, you’ll have 25:00 minutes.
Escape The Fire
- To get started, we need to find the secret exit. Look on the tome in the center of the room. It says to “Flip Through” — go to the wall with the words in the right wing of the Library.
- WORD PUZZLE SOLUTION: Flip all the letters of the word “THROUGH” upside-down.
- This reveals the secret exit door. You need to find x4 [Strange Tiles] to escape.
- Go to the open doorway near the Display Cases. There’s a path that leads to a small room with a Treasure Chest. Check the Desk Note and the Wall Scroll for clues.
- TREASURE CHEST CODE: [2-2-5-7]
- Collect the first [Strange Tile]. We’ll need more to escape.
- In the same hallway, there’s a broken display case with a small Chest and a directional lock. Look at the tablet here and in the main display room for clues.
- DIRECTIONAL CHEST CODE: [Rightx2-Up-Left-Down-Up-Leftx2]
- NOTE: Make sure to rapidly flip the directional pad lock twice during the x2 movements. They need to be done right after another.
- Complete the puzzle to get the [Hourglass] and [Crank Handle].
Flipped Room
- At the front of the Library, you’ll find a Crank Puzzle. Use the [Crank Handle] here — there are three cranks, each one turning the clock faces from biggest to smallest.
- CLOCK CRANK PUZZLE SOLUTION: Turn the cranks until an opening is revealed in the center of the door. Turn the large clock face so the missing section is facing straight up, then match the other two clock faces so a button is revealed.
- This unlocks the Flipped Room.
- Enter the Flipped Room. There is a large chest that you can’t access and several ladders. Interact with the [Ladder] and move it until you can slot it into the spot in the far-right corner of the grooves.
- Do the same for both ladders. At the top of one ladder, you’ll find another [Strange Tile]. At the other, you’ll find a lever. Flip the lever.
- In the Flipped Room, make note of the four items on poles. Don’t forget the items are also flipped! Numbers are associated with each object in the Display Case Area.
- FLIPPED CHEST PUZZLE SOLUTION: [6-8-6-9]
- Take the [Strange Tile].
Globe Room
- Go to the Hourglass Puzzle. It is located on the far end of the room. Look at the Stainglass Window above the puzzle — there’s your clue to solve it. You may need to flip the switch in the Flipped Room first.
- HOURGLASS PUZZLE SOLUTION: Place the [Hourglass] item and then adjust the Hourglasses to match the image above. Use the screenshot below to help. The top-right Hourglass must be partially full to solve the puzzle — if its already empty, flip again and wait.
- This unlocks the Globe Room. There are four globes and three nonsense letter messages in three different colors. Take note of the messages in statue letters and the words on the globes.
- GLOBE PUZZLE SOLUTION: [Red: Sun – Blue: Air – Yellow: Fire]
- Collect the third [Strange Tile] to complete the puzzle.
Escape
- Place all four [Strange Tiles] on the Escape Door in the main Library. You need to place the tiles in the correct spots.
- ESCAPE SOLUTION: Place the tiles in the following locations.
- Upper-Left: Anvil
- Upper-Right: Lion
- Lower-Left: Bird
- Lower-Right: Scales
