Torment is a spiritual follow-up to Black Isle Studios' Planescape: Torment, widely regarded by role-playing gamers as one of the best RPGs ever made. Torment: Tides of Numenera is set in Monte Cook's newly developed Numenera setting, which is set in the far distant future of Earth. The game boasts turn-based combat and, true to its developer inXile's form, tons of dialogue choices and role-playing opportunities.
