V Rising: How to get Copper Ore and Copper Ingots

May 23, 2022 by Lauren Sayles

It’s time to mine.

There are various resources in V Rising that play an important role in crafting and your progression in the vampire world. One of these resources is copper which can be used to upgrade a variety of weapons and structures. Gathering copper ore in V Rising will also allow you to make copper ingots and unlock even more possibilities. This guide will show you where to find copper ore and how to turn it into copper ingots.

To get your hands on some of that all-important copper ore, you need to mine orange rocks. In order to do so, you will need to craft a Reinforced Bone Mace which you can do by using a Simple Workbench in your castle. It is likely that you will come across copper rocks as you are exploring the world of V Rising. However, to mine a lot of copper in a short amount of time, you can visit the copper mine in Farbane Woods. Copper rocks will grow back over time, so you can keep going back for more. Notably, giant boulders of copper can only be broken down with explosives which can be crafted at the Alchemy Table.

How to Turn Copper Ore Into Copper Ingots

To smelt the copper ore into ingots, you will need to build a Furnace in your castle. The Furnace requires a total of 60 copper ore and 480 stone to be built. Then, you can place your copper ore inside of the Furnace to create copper ingots. Notably, you will have to gather a lot of copper ore to increase your copper ingot reserves. You will have to give up 20 copper ore in exchange for one copper ingot, so make sure you use your copper wisely.
