V Rising: How To Craft Leather | Crafting Guide

May 18, 2022 by Lauren Sayles

Leather is essential in V Rising and here is how to craft it.

V Rising has entered Early Access with a mixture of survival and open-world experiences and a range of spooky content to get stuck into. You can either play solo offline or make friends and enemies online. Similar to various other titles in the survival genre, you need to craft materials to continue to improve your base. An important resource in V Rising is leather and if you are wondering how to craft it, look no further, this guide has you covered.

Leather should be one of the first materials you craft in V Rising as it will prove useful from the very moment you begin your Gothic adventure. Its uses include crafting clothing, repairing armor and much more. However, there are a couple of steps you will need to complete before you can craft leather.

Leather Crafting Guide

Firstly, to get your hands on some leather, you will need to unlock a Tannery station. In order to do so, you will need to kill the Keely the Frost Archer boss. This is part of the main mission and once you progress to the point where you are able to kill the level 20 boss, you can craft a Tannery in your base.

Open up the Build menu and navigate to the Tannery option. Make sure you have the 8 planks and 160 Animal Hide needed to craft it. Place down your Tannery in your base and then you will be able to interact with it. You will have to give up 16 Animal Hide in exchange for one piece of leather. By dragging the Animal Hide to the input slot in the Tannery, the process of crafting leather will begin straight away.

Now you know how to get leather in V Rising, you can craft the resources you will need to start your journey to world domination.
