LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga – How to Get Studs x10

April 7, 2022 by Peter Hunt Szpytek

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is full to the brim with secrets and collectibles. Some of the most fun aspects of the game, however, are the unlockable cheat codes that alter the game’s mechanics in one way or another.

Each cheat will vary the gameplay in an interesting way that keeps The Skywalker Saga feeling fresh if players ever begin to feel tired of its vanilla gameplay. Unlockable cheats include things like exploding blaster bolts and quick ways to unlock exclusive characters, but perhaps the most desirable cheat codes are the Stud multipliers.

Stud multipliers are pretty straightforward: they multiply the number of Studs you pick up by whichever cheat you’ve unlocked. There are five different multiplier numbers, x2, x4, x6, x8, and x10, but obviously the most desirable is the x10 Stud multiplier. Take a look below to see how you can grab it with relative ease.

Studs x10 Cheat Code Guide

There are two types of cheats in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. One kind has the player enter a cheat code to unlock content and the other is unlocked by purchasing the cheat using Studs and Datacards in the Extras menu. The Studs x10 cheat is the latter which means that there isn’t a way to instantly unlock it, at least, none that’s been found as of yet. Instead, the player will need to snag it the old fashion way.

The Studs x10 cheat requires one Datacard (same as all cheats) and 384,000,000 Studs. Let’s not beat around the bush here, that’s an overwhelming number of Studs that seems almost unattainable. Fortunately, the player will be able to unlock the other Stud multipliers as they go in order to make the process much quicker than it might initially seem.

We detailed a quick way to unlock the Stud x2 cheat code right here which will be the first step in unlocking the Stud x10 code. In short, the player should do their best to get to the end of Episode 4: A New Hope and farm Studs during the “Stay on Target” mission. Each run should net the player roughly 100,000 Studs which means that the Stud x2 cheat will be available within 10 runs or so. Buy it and then get back to the level with the x2 multiplier on for 200,000 Studs per run.

Keep doing the mission (with breaks here and there to go find some Datacards) until each Stud multiplier is unlocked. While it might seem a bit counter-intuitive to spend Studs to make Studs, the higher multipliers will quickly make the investment worth it. Although it will take quite a bit of grinding, the Stud x10 cheat code should be unlocked by replaying the mission with each multiplier engaged. There are other areas where players have found good Stud grinding spots such as the “Now This is Podracing” mission in Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, but the Episode 4 mission has worked best for us.
